UK Based Roles:
Due to a new and exciting upcoming project, G3 Systems are looking to recruit driven and proven Engineers to be part of our Project Team, and in particular we require a System Engineer to lead the Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a background in System Engineering and will manage the Project Engineering Team output, to ensure compliance with complex system requirements.
Experience Required
Mobilisation:
- Support the recruitment and mobilisation of the Project Engineering team.
- Produce and Maintain the Design and Engineering Management Plan.
- Develop and implement design and engineering processes and procedures specific to the project.
Service Delivery:
- Overseeing the design team to develop safe, efficient, and effective engineering solutions that will fall within the budget and are in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Be responsible for setting and managing the system of systems approach required to deliver the project.
- Ensure the safety and efficiency of all Project engineering operations.
- Ensuring that Design and Engineering tasks are completed on time, within budgets and that all applicable standards are achieved.
- Responsible for ensuring project design solutions comply with the customers system requirements, documents, compliancy document and contractual requirements.
- Managing sub-contractor designs and engineering outputs, ensuring compliance with the Statement of Work, compliancy document and system requirements documents.
- Responsible for the development, management and execution of the Trials, Verification and Validation Plan.
- Responsible for achieving all necessary and required systems certifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure weekly and monthly management reporting material is provided and maintained.
- Engender and maintain a mission zero safety culture throughout the programme delivery team and supply chain.
International Travel
The role will require significant UK and overseas travel, mostly in Europe. To this end the candidate must be willing and able to travel, both in the UK and overseas.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- BSc degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Active certification in an engineering professional organisation.
- Professional Engineering Licensure.
- Advanced understanding of engineering principles and procedures.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment at Chief Engineer or Design Management level.
- Knowledge and experience of System Engineering principles and practices.
- Must be able to collaborate and bridge the communications gap between the engineering team, service technicians, business managers, and clients, interfacing with each.
- Must have experience leading teams of individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and disciplines.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018.
- Proficient in use of design software packages.
- Working with Military Organisations and associated procurement establishments.
- Working knowledge and use of AQAP, Mil Stan, Def Stan, European, British and ISO standards.
- Working knowledge of human factors engineering.
- Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills with an obsessive attention to detail.
- Security Cleared or be able to achieve security clearance.
- Previous understanding of process for CE marking of equipment systems

Alongside our many new opportunities due to a new project, we are looking to hire a Project Engineer to join us at G3 Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts.
Mobilisation:
- Support the Mobilisation of the Project.
- Produce and maintain the project Trials, Verification and Validation Plan.
- Assist with supplier approval audits and onboarding in line with the mobilisation plan.
Service Delivery:
- Provide engineering expertise and advice to the project team.
- Produce and maintain project plans and technical documentation.
- Provide an interface between Project, Engineering Disciplines and suppliers on technical issues, snags and non-conformances.
- Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
- Equipment installation, commissioning, testing and acceptance IAW Trials, Verification and Validation Plan.
- Participation and input to Design Review meetings, ensuring compliance with project technical requirements specification.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with suppliers. Monitoring the quality of project deliverables ensuring compliance with any relevant industry standard or project specific quality requirements.
- Conduct Investigation of Product / service non-conforming products or services, providing detailed reports, evidence of findings and maintaining records.
- Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
- Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project delivery.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure weekly and monthly reporting material is provided and maintained.
- Engender and maintain a mission zero safety culture throughout the programme delivery team and supply chain.
International Travel:

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Engineering degree in a related discipline, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
- Active certification in an engineering professional organisation.
- An understanding of engineering principles and procedures.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an engineering environment.
- Demonstrable experience in a Project Engineering role.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Strong ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads
- IT skills MS office, word excel,
- Ability to communicate orally, in writing, produce reports technical / non-technical and give presentations.

Job Description
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in producing comprehensive and innovative electrical designs, ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems into larger engineering projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design Creation: Produce conceptual designs, detailed designs, integration/installation drawings, design specifications, operational documentation, and validation evidence for electrical engineering solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other design engineers to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall project design.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all electrical design solutions meet safety, quality, technical, and commercial requirements.
- Third-Party Management: Manage third-party designers, ensuring their designs meet project requirements. Provide design support to installation and commissioning teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Design Reviews: Lead and participate in internal and external design review meetings, providing expertise and guidance on electrical design matters.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and support opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and overall business improvements within electrical design processes.
- Tenders & Budgets: Assist in preparing technical tenders and budgets, providing electrical design input to ensure accurate scope definition.
- Quotation Requests: Handle requests for quotations (RFQs) for specialist equipment related to electrical systems.
- BOM Production: Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical systems and components.
Skills and experience required
- Degree or higher education qualification (HNC/HND) in electrical engineering with at least 3 year’s post qualification experience in a design environment.
- Previous experience of integration of multiple services within containerised or modular builds advantageous.
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD, (experience working with 3D CAD systems is advantageous but not critical).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Experience with simulation and analysis tools for electrical systems (such as ‘Trimble MEP’ / DIALux / Relux).
- The identification and rectification of defects encountered during operational service.
- Working knowledge of 18th Edition (amendment 2) wiring regulations.
- Experience in LPS and earthing systems.
- Experience in EMC and Tempest installations.
- Working knowledge of relevant BS / ISO standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring communication on and adherence to Group HR Policy and UK legislation, including re-writing and updating.
- Advising Directors and Managers on employment issues to comply with business strategy and statutory law.

Overseas Roles:
Duties:
- Responsible for the installation, commissioning and testing of electrical installations to the latest edition of British Standards in accordance with BS 7671.
- Conduct electrical test and verification of minor works and will complete all the required paperwork
- Work with the managing team and PM’s to design, price, organise and monitor all electrical biased Minor Works.
- Responsible for the accurate procurement of all electrical materials for all electrical minor works, will delegate to electricians (expat) where necessary but will ensure the work is still completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all materials delivered to the project site to meet program dates and specification requirements.
- Will be CompEx trained and experienced and will act as the CompEx supervisor for all works in an explosive environment
- Create risk assessments and method statements as required and will ensure that all staff have read, understood, and signed the documentation.
- Responsible for the safety and welfare of the general public, staff and sub contractor employees alongside G3 site delivery team.
- Ensure PPE is being correctly worn relevant to the company’s policy and sub-contractors RAMs
- Working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concerns
- Participate in safety initiatives

- City and Guilds 2394 & 2395 Inspection and Test
- CSCS Card, Safety Passport, or equivalent qualification
- CompEx 1-4 (desirable)
- Fire Installation and commissioning course (Desirable)
- Lightening protection course (BSEN 62305-3&4) (Desirable)
Experience required:
- Installation of Domestic and industrial electrical installations to British Standards
- Full Working Knowledge of BS:7671
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and Emergency Lighting Installations
- Running and team of electricians on either a large single project or over a program of minor works.

This is an exciting Expatriate opportunity to work on an International Construction project in Africa. Please note, applicants will be required to obtain UK standard baseline security clearance to secure the role.
Salary: £90,000 – £95,000 (gross) per annum
Task Descriptions:
- As Project Manager you will be the direct point of contact between the client and the company.
- Based on sites as required in Africa
- Ability to lead a project from concept stage to completion
- Provide strong leadership skills and communicate effectively and openly with the Construction management team
- Point of contact and main liaison with clients
- Ensure strong and effective management of subcontracts and the performance of subcontractors
- Responsibility for ensuring the project programme is updated and reflects the deliverables of the project as well as the critical path.

- Produce budgets and reports for clients on monthly cycle

- Coordinate meetings with supply chain to ensure materials and services are on track in line with the programme plan

- Experience of managing a site delivery team
